Oscar will offer both the standard benefit design plan offered through Covered California and their non-standard off-exchange benefit design plans for during the extended enrollment period. Health Plans purchased directly from Oscar are not eligible for the Advance Premium Tax Credit subsidy to lower the monthly health insurance premium.

Oscar announced they will accept off-exchange enrollments for March 1 effective date through February 6th.

The deadline’s been extended!

In an agent communication Oscar announced the enrollment extension.

You may already may be aware of the deadline extension, but we’re just sending around a notification to let everyone know that Covered California has extended the December 15 deadline to December 17 for plans starting on January 1!

And remember, you can still enroll your clients in off-exchange Oscar plans through December 31 for a January 1 effective date!
