Blue Shield of California is teaming up with more than 50 CVS Minute Clinics® throughout California to help make access to health solutions easier and more convenient for our Individual and Family Plan members.
Individual and Family Plan members with PPO plans are now eligible to visit a MinuteClinic in their area for common ailments such as:
- Minor illnesses: cold, ear ache, allergies, seasonal pink eye
- Skin treatments: acne, rash, shingles
- Minor injuries
- Limited vaccinations: flu shot, tetanus, hepatitis (A/B)
- Wellness tests and screenings: blood pressure, physicals, cholesterol screening
Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis by nurse practitioners. They will pay the same copay as for a plan office visit.
