WHA Individual And Family Plans In North Bay And Sacramento Regions

Western Health Advantage (WHA) will offer a variety of on- and off-exchange HMO plans to individuals and families in the North Bay and Sacramento regions for 2018. Many of their plans are offered on-exchange through Covered California and are eligible for the monthly tax credit subsidy. For 2018 UC Davis doctors and hospitals will no longer be in-network with the WHA IFP plans.

WHA Health Plans In North Bay And Sacramento Region

For individuals and families who travel more than 100 miles from their home, WHA plan members will be eligible for assistance with medical consultations and referrals from Assist America at mywha.org/travel. There is also a 24-hour nurse line to answer general health questions and referral to nurses with more specific knowledge of disease management.

Acupuncture services are offered through Landmark Healthplan of California. Pediatric eye wear is provided through MESVision and the pediatric dental is coordinated through Delta Dental.

In addition to the standard Bronze HDHP, WHA will offer a Bronze 6500 HDHP and a Silver 3600 HDHP off-exchange. The High Deductible Health Plans (HDHP) are eligible for Health Saving Accounts.  WHA serves all or parts of the following counties Placer, El Dorado, Sacramento, Yolo, Solano, Sonoma, and Marin.
