Health Net has partnered with the online mental health website myStrength to offer support and inspiration for members who may be experiences mental health challenges in their lives. From the flyer introducing the partnership, myStrength is meant to address certain conditions such as anxiety, depression and struggles with substance abuse.

We all struggle with our moods at times. Anxious or depressive thoughts can weigh us down. Some of us may struggle with drugs or alcohol. Seeking help and focusing on your mental health is important.

Now you can use web and mobile tools to help you get better and stay mentally strong.

myStrength is confidential—just for you. It offers personalized resources to improve your mood. Learning to use myStrength’s tools can help overcome the challenges of drug and alcohol abuse. – Health Net myStrength flyer

After filling out a short personal profile, myStrength will deliver content to member’s via email to support him or her experiencing mental health challenges that he or she has identified as areas of concern. The supporting content, which may be videos, can be spiritual in nature if the member has indicated that a religious faith is important to him or her.

You can visit www.myStrength.com/HNWell to learn more and enroll. While Health Net is promoting myStrength it doesn’t appear that you must be a Health Net member to actually register.

Update October 28, 2015: I was contact by a Health Net represented who wrote me that the myStrength application is for Health Net members and is not open to others. Thank you for the clarification!
